I'm getting adventurous though, I changed the colour of my thread oooooh I hear you cry yes indeed I used a chocolatey brown ..........
......and also did a little free motion artistry, check out the chimneys and the birds.
The frame was a treasure from a car boot, upcycled to live another day and it provides the perfect setting for this picture.
I love 'little houses', I think there's something very appealing about them. I hope you enjoyed the gallery and definitely not too 'wordy' post.
There is some amazing embroidery talent out their in blogland, I've come to the conclusion that practice, pratice, practice is what you need to do.

I'm waiting for some embroidery bits and pieces I've ordered online and whilst I wait I am practising stitches and techniques on fabric offcuts, and doing lots of reading and watching video tutorials.
