Handmade Monday - Gadget Cosies

A very good morning to each and every one of you! I don't quite know what happened last week but I was no where near organised to contribute to Handmade Monday so I've made a concerted effort this week to get my derriere in shape.

Gadget cosies this week ............

I've had fun with these.....

Revisiting old designs .......

Trying out new ones.........

....and playing with new fabric.

I had totally forgotten I had my pink linen, doesn't it work well with the vintage fabric? All available in Folksy and Etsy and soon maybe 'My Shop' but I'm still working on that one.

Wendy who does a fabulous job hosting Handmade Monday every week is talking about a very worthwhile cause today, why not pop over and pay her a visit and take in the other contributions too.
Quite a busy weekend for us this week, all members of the family were out Saturday night doing their own thing in our lovely little town of Buckingham. The Charter fair was visiting so the boys were off with their friends giving it a good once over and then going onto sleepovers and OH and I spent a very enjoyable evening having a curry with friends. We're just at that stage of family life when you have to plan everyone's activities like a military campaign. Has everyone got something to do? What time do you need to be there? Who's picking you up? Have you got your mobile? I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. It just makes me realise how quickly they're growing up and how important it is to savour every moment, even when they retreat into the 'bear cave' sometimes. Hope you had a great weekend too.

  4. Just gorgeous! Perfect for keeping your gadget warm this winter! I love that new boat design - superb. I also love that first shot, showing the paddedness of them (nope, I don't care if paddedness isn't a real word - it needs to be).

Enjoy the noise, hussle bussle and the military campaigning, they go all too quickly. I'm lucky, I have my nieces and nephews to keep me in touch with just about everything. Lesley x

  8. Great cosies Caroline. I'd be hard pressed to choose a favourite but as I'm busy painting beach huts at the moment I'd put your beach huts at the top of my list.

  16. Love your cosies, how do you think up so many different designs I wonder.
You so remind me of me a few (well, more than a few) years ago being a single parent of three teenagers, all doing different activities in dif. places at the same time. You do survive.
