Friday Finds - (Or what I got from the market)

I just thought I would share a couple of things that I bought from the vintage and handmade market last Sunday. It was the first one held in this area and it was wonderfully organised, with stall holders all dressed in vintage style and a trio of wonderful ladies, who belted out songs from the 40's and 50's all morning. It was a great atmosphere and I'm sure they'll do another one. Who knows I might even join in myself (but that's too scary to think about at the moment).

So let's see...piles of green gingham (oooh I feel a few appliqued kitchen accessories coming on); some gorgeous buttons - 'the latest style' and whats that in the background?

It's this! It was the picture that caught my eye - I'm a big duck fan. Have you noticed the catch on the side...?

It opens up to reveal lots of little hooks. Now, I couldn't believe my luck, I've wanted a key cupboard for ages and this fitted the bill perfectly. It does of course set me up to start another project - 'Project revamp', but I'm really looking forward to transforming (and hopefully not ruining) this little piece.

So that's all for this week. Thank you to everyone for visiting my blog and for all of the lovely comments I've received, it really does make my day.

Hope you all have a great weekend.

  4. Can't wait to see what you do with the fab duck cupboard - and all of it! You should really consider taking a stall at the next one. Vx
