Less is More Card Challenge

Hello everyone. I don't usually do card challenges but when I saw this one.....

.......I couldn't resist. This wonderful blog was launched not too long ago by two ladies who pride themselves on producing clean and simple cards, they already have a huge following, but if you visit their blog it's easy to see why. If you're ever stuck for inspiration for a card, take a trip over there you'll come back with armfuls of ideas.

Here's my entry. You can see I've adapted my son's birthday card for this one. But it did make me think about the versatility of this design. You can replace the 'age' with a 'name' or any other appropriate word and depending on the colours you choose can be given to male or female or teenage boy, which is always my greatest challlenge.

Anyway I think this weeks challange is about to close so I'd better pop over and post this. My weekend is revolving around birthday celebrations, whatever you end up doing enjoy yourselves and thank you for all of your kind comments and visits this week.

(All this and not a crocheted flower in sight!)

  1. That is an amazing blog - and the simplicity of the work is refreshing to see! Your interpreattion is great, especially so because it's always hard to do masculine cards.
    Have a great weekend!
