Through fields of wheat.......
........with views like this.....
...right on my doorstep.
Then home to chill out in the garden and find out what's been going on......
Ripening apples.....
Geraniums amongst the herbs.....
Lovely lacecaps.....
....nestled in lobelia
Pinks.......and purples.....
.....and a puss called Poppy, who is such a Princess, I can't tell you.
See you tomorrow x
Love fields of wheat specially with the evening sun on them. The colour is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteHi Caroline,
ReplyDeleteI love the golden fields of wheat too, we don't have an awful lot of grain grown up here, too soggy!
Poppy is gorgeous, I have a soft spot for tabbies.
I took a photo of apples this morning too, it seems there is a just hint of autumn around, I can't believe I just said that, it's only July!x
That walk looked lovely - what views!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is looking pretty - lovely flower photos.
Your apples are looking very healthy!
Sweet Poppy!

You do have some lovely countryside around you, and your garden looks gorgeous too, love the colourful geraniums against the white wall -reminds me of being abroad! xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo's and lovely countryside, not too dissimilar to my own.

The sun seems to be shining everywhere but Kent! Still grey and drear here . . .

Hi Caroline! Bit late commenting here, but what lovely, summery photos and such a pensive cat! Re Woolbeding Garden, a little bit of bad news. Sadly, it is only open on Thursdays and Fridays, and you have to phone to book. There is no proper shop or tearoom, like most National Trust properties have, but you can buy a DIY tea or coffee, or a cold drink (the Victorian Lemonade was very good), and there are yummies such as flapjacks to be had too. Hope this helps - if you want further info, just email me!
