Scrappy Beach Huts

Hello and a big welcome to all of my new followers! I have had such fun browsing your wonderful blogs and have loved picking up ideas from you all or just stopping to go 'Wow or oooooh' every now and again.

Just a quickie today, beach huts made from scraps of fabric. What I like the most about this picture is the colour combination. You know the feeling you get when you play around with colours and then suddenly you just think 'Yeah'.

I framed it using a frame from those wonderful people at Ikea, it seemed to set it off quite nicely. Now I just have to think about where I'm going to hang it.

 Happy crafting.

  1. I love them, I think we should all have a beach hut in our lives, I have a shed in the garden and I keep threatening to paint it stripy.

  3. Hi Caroline, I love your beach huts, they're brilliant. They look great in the frame too. I really must find the time to have a go to. My new darning foot is a bit redundant at the moment. Can't wait to see your next project. Lesley x

  6. Hi Caroline,
I absolutely love the beach huts, anything to do with the sea is a winner with me as I can see it from my windows. I really like all the hut fabric choices and the sandy coloured background is perfect. Have a nice weekend.x
